It must be easy right? just look at how many people are getting in on this online marketing thing.
Well it is easy to get started but to be successful you need to find a good step by step system and stick with it. Don’t expect to put up a website and start earning money over night, it doesn’t work that way.
There are many pitfalls to online marketing apart from all the make money quick scams out there. Procrastination is one of the worst problems, when your starting out you will probably buy e-book after e-book telling you all about building Mini sites, blogging, PPC, social bookmarking and affiliate marketing using Clickbank.and other marketing places. It’s easy to fall into the buying and learning cycle and never actually get started marketing.
So do yourself a favor and take action sooner rather than later. It can be overwhelming at first with so many new things to learn but take it from me, you do not need to learn everything about affiliate marketing to be able to start earning your first sale.
Do your keyword research, decide on a product to promote, decide if your going to use paid services or free methods to drive targeted traffic to your offers, then get on with it. Plan your marketing attack out so you know exactly what your going to be doing each day. Don’t try to do all the steps in a single day.
Promoting websites and affiliate products takes time so do a little each day to drive traffic and build back links to your sites and eventually you will start to reap the fruits of your labor.
